Join us each week at DIYode Community Workshop for casual gatherings where members socialize, collaborate on projects, and discuss workshop plans. Whether you’re a seasoned maker or new to DIY, everyone is welcome to attend. Drop by for a tour, explore our space, and set up your membership if you’re interested in joining. These meetings are the heartbeat of our community, fostering creativity and collaboration. Come be a part of the DIYode experience!

Announcing Skill Forge Series VI! This workshop series will help you learn practical skills from experienced Diyode volunteers in a fun, welcoming environment. This round covers welding, plasma cutting, woodworking, electronics, laser cutting, and home repair, so there’s something for everyone.
All Skill Forge workshops are free for Diyode members. Welding sessions are limited to 4 participants, so sign up early!
Introduction to Welding with Jackie & Will • October 23rd, 2026 • 6:30PM – 8:30PM
Experience the basics of welding in a safe, supervised environment. Learn about welding equipment, safety, and fundamental techniques while making your first welds. Limited to 4 participants.
Woodworking Basics with Galen & Richard • October 29th, 2026 • 7PM-9PM
Get comfortable in the woodshop by learning essential safety practices, common tools, and basic techniques to start building with confidence.
Welding & Plasma Cutting with Jackie & Will • November 13th, 2026 • 6:30PM – 8:30PM
Build on your welding skills and learn to cut metal with a plasma cutter. Covers equipment setup, safety, and techniques for clean, accurate cuts. Limited to 4 participants.
Electronics & Radio with Cliff & Kait • November 26th, 2026 • 7PM-9PM
Explore the basics of electronics, component identification, and soldering while building a simple radio project. A great hands-on introduction to how circuits work.
Laser Cutter Basics with Patrick • December 10th, 2026 • 7PM-9PM
Learn how to design files, set up materials, and safely operate the laser cutter to create precise cuts and engravings for your own projects.
Plumbing & Home Repair Basics with Dano • January 14th, 2027 • 7PM-9PM
Develop practical skills for tackling common household plumbing repairs and everyday maintenance projects, while learning when it’s time to call a professional.
Long before the internet, there was 2600 Hz, a tone that cracked open the phone system and gave birth to a generation of hackers. 2600: The Hacker Quarterly didn’t just report on the underground; it became the underground, a photocopied manifesto of curiosity, rebellion, and code that’s been turning the world inside out since 1984.
From early roots to today’s digital activists, 2600 is where the curious build their own reality. It’s not about breaking laws, it’s about breaking assumptions, exposing how systems really work, and reminding everyone that information wants to be free.
We host a 2600 Meeting on the first Friday of every month starting at 7pm.
Join us on on the Third Wednesday of Every Month at 7 PM for a fun-filled board game night hosted by Harry L.B.! We’ll have games like Zombie Dice, Burke’s Gambit, Coup, Resistance, and more! Feel free to bring your own games, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages to share!
This event is free for everyone to attend! You do NOT need to be a Diyode member to attend.
Board game nights are Pay What You Can and any amount is appreciated. All funds will be used to maintain and update our community workshop.
Join us on the second Sunday of every month at 12 PM for a welcoming community carving meetup hosted by Rundle Dorosh. Some tools are provided, and participants are welcome to bring their own. All skill levels are welcome, and Diyode membership is not required to attend.
