Rebuilding Computers

Over the last year or so, we’ve had many computers donated to us in various states of non-function.  We have rebuilt many of these into functional systems, installed the latest Ubuntu Desktop linux on them, and are hoping to find homes for them where they can be of use.

If you are having trouble affording a computer, or know someone who is in need, contact info@diyode.com

  1. Have you considered doing something similar to what the working centre in Kitchener does in this vein? They have open computer repair timeslots, where people can learn to fix their computers, use tools or workbenches, or purchase cheaper, working computers. Seems like a similar thing might be up your alley….

  2. We’ve talked about it, but most of us want to get away from computers at the end of the day 🙂
